I was tagged twice, in this blog-tag game, apparently started by Jeff Pulver over the Holidays.
Here are the Five Things You Don't Know About Me, and that I'm pretty sure you dint really want to know anyway :)
1. I have a tendency to be OCD about most things... i am a highly organised person, down to my sock drawer, and even chose a profession that encourages this trait of mine (i am a librarian and hence spend my days sorting things in order :)). Once in a while, I choose to engage myself in spontaneous chaos, to get my creative juices going or try to break the habit…. But, underneath it all, i’m still a compulsive sorter who likes to spend hours separating beads in little groups of sizes, colours and textures :)
2. I am a very shy person and will seldom be noticed in a crowd, because I tend to let others do the talking, and try to be as discrete as possible
3. I have the attention span of a 2 month old, and the tendency to fall madly in love very fast with anything new that catches my eye… that literally means that if, for example, I discover I love sewing, then I'll buy a sewing machine or two, a ton of fabric and notions, patterns, read up on it, create 7 different pieces of clothing or accessories in one weekend… and then move on to a new passion, pottery… I'll buy a wheel, clay, tools, attempt to do something that looks like more than just a pile of clay, that didn’t work, I give up, then move on to painting… :)
4. which leads to my fourth point, I am a pack rat! I cannot throw out anything! I usually buy second hand, to lessen the costs and my Ecological Footprint . This is a family trait, for sure, my grandfather was known to keep small ropes and twines and tie them together to roll them up in a ball, so they could be used later instead of throwing them out…
5. I am a hopeless romantic
