A few weeks ago, i discovered on etsy a great crafter that inspired me so much: mama staub, and her fabulous handmade buttons and beads!

She sent me an invitation to participate in a cross promotion collaboration, which i accepted, of course: her buttons are so fabulous!

i intentionally kept it simple, so the buttons would be the focal point

it's suddenly so quiet

I know, I’ve not been posting here as often as I should
I’ve been very busy!

I’ve started giving classes at the Taoist Tai Chi Society, which is taking up quite a bit of my time

Plus, I’ve of course taken on several crafting projects at a time
I’m preparing some items for the sampler

I’ve also started sewing a lot
My machine is brand spanking fixed
Its love at first site all over again :)
So far I’ve made these

wool tweed, vintage button and red silk clutches

original pattern by .tomate d'épingles. inspired from a vintage 1950's pattern

i've even sold the pink one!

And I’ve picked up the knitting needles again, just for pain, really; I’m so bad at it, no matter how hard I try… :) I’m trying to do wrist warmers… we’ll see how it goes

I’m also participating in a contest for fiskars

And preparing for yet another jewelry party, in December

Speaking of the holidays, I’ve decided what my gifts will be and will start on that soon, but that’s top secret, so don’t ask ;)
I’ve been doing my gift tags and holiday wishes cards by hands this year… I seem to always add to the load of handmade items every year

So when any (if any) of the above will be finished, I’ll blog it up a bit :)
But till then, it’ll be a bit quiet
