Malgré le mauvais temps, .tomate d'épingles. était de la Fête du Faubourg Saint-Jean-Baptiste!
La rue St-Jean, dans le Faubourg Saint-Jean, était fermée à la circulation afin de faire place à la fête de quartier la plus populaire à Québec.

last update! fair preparation almost finished
so far:
- i've crafted +200 items (along with my sister, who uses the same materials as me but never does the same thing... its quite interesting!)
- i've purchased some bags to put around the purchases, they look like pink paper lunch bags, and cut some pink and fushia silk paper to wrap the jewellery in...
- i've prepared 16 goodie stashes of mixed etsy seller business cards and or samples for the first 16 customers (if there are that many)
- i've mounted all of the items on my sisters and mine business cards and written the price in the back of the cards
- i've decided to go with fabric covered corkboards as displays, and bought the jeans i need to cover them
- i've cut all my business cards to hand out to curious non buyers
- i've told all my friends, several times :)
- i've finished my button ring cushion and i'm loving it
- i've found a co-exposee to share the table with
- made a price tag for each corkboard so people don’t have to fidget or ask for prices too much (i heard some people don’t buy if they cant see the price at first glance)
- i've decided of the definitive price list
- i've made an inventory list in full length
- i've made an inventory check list for during the fair
- i've finished the pieces that aren’t finished
- got lots of change for the cash box
- i've taken pictures of everything - everything - everything and everything!
- finished "upgrading" the necklaces with an extender chain and add matching charm at the end
- i've reduced some of the prices my sister put on her items before we decided of the definitive price list (in nice bright red so it'll look like a sale hehe)
still to do:
- hide the cork on my corkboards with the jeans fabric
- do a table cloth with the rest of the jeans (2x6 minimum)
- screw together the two medium sized cork-boards
- use my service tray as a display for the things i have no choice but to put down on the table
- mock set-up on my kitchen table to see what its all going to look like, in half a table (2x3) and full table if i get flaked on
- prepare my no sale related things like chair and water, sunhat…
if i have time:
- calm down!
- print out more business cards and cut them
- prepare a box of crafts to do on the site if i bomb out

im having a hard time deciding over pricing for my craft fair...

adding to the fact that the site is annoying to use (too slow) and that the fees are outrageous, my last 3 transactions out of 5 where bad, including 2 dead beats that wouldnt pay in a timely manner (one of them i had to open a complaint to get my money) and the last one just sent me an evil message with threats of negative feedback
her package did not get to her yet... between auction end and today, 3 national holidays (Quebec national holiday, Canada day and 4th of July) could have delayed the package, but the buyer did not understand that
so she got 100% refund for an item she will get by the end of the week, 'cause of the 3 day delay, and she will probably neg feedback me anyway
